On my 38th birthday I launched a zine called “Thirty Eight.” Each month I wrote and illustrated a story and sent it via old-fashioned USPS. The personal stories start on my 5th birthday after a disappointing party and end with my most recent birthday spent in quarantine. Told in twelve parts, this compilation includes photographs, illustrations, and stories.
